The best memories are made while away from home.
How so? Because jumping off waterfalls on Christmas morning doesn't happen in the backyard, it happens in exotic places like Hawaii and the Dominican Republic. Zooming down Slinky Dog Dash at Walt Disney World while listening to my daughters' belly laugh and squeal with delight - those are the memories that last a lifetime.
Several years ago I decided that our holidays and summers were going to be about experiences, not material items. There isn’t a day that goes by that I regret that choice. My daughters are genuinely excited for our next adventure because they know it far surpasses any trendy electronic gadget or designer shoes that they could receive.
What I do BEST
My passion for travel and the fulfillment it has brought my little family is what drives my desire to want to help others achieve their vacation dreams. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many amazing places our world has to offer independently, as a group, with family, for work, and as a single mom, but my favorite type of travel by far are the trips my daughters and I take together.
I was initially hesitant on embarking alone with my daughters when I became a single mom. A mama bear’s instinct is to protect her cubs to the fullest extent, right? But have no fear, moms! Traveling with children is totally possible and incredibly rewarding! My girls and I have traveled to Hawaii, San Francisco, different national parks and beaches, and have been cruising through the Bahamas and I can honestly say that we are having the best time!
My goal as a travel agent with CCTC is to help other families make lasting memories like my girls and I have. As a teacher by day, I am skilled at planning down to the smallest detail and will leave no stone left unturned for your vacation.
